Parent Coaching
Our in-home SLP services deliver convenient and personalized speech and language therapy, ensuring your child receives effective support in the comfort and familiarity of their own environment.
These services guide and empower you with the skills and strategies needed to effectively support your child's speech and language development across all areas and contexts, including at home.
Is your child difficult to understand, or having trouble saying certain sounds? We specialize in supporting children of all ages in their speech sound development across languages due to a variety of reasons, whether due to a phonological disorder, articulation disorder, or Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). Following evidence-based practices, we help individuals become clearer and confident communicators.
Comprehensive Evaluations & Treatment
We provide comprehensive bilingual Spanish-English evaluations, assessing and addressing the speech and language needs of a child, including in the areas of speech sound development/phonology, receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language, and stuttering.
We also provide comprehensive multilingual Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluations.
Language
Services
We provide individualized language interventions that support an individual's expressive communication and receptive communication (what they understand), as well as the application of those skills socially and conversationally, or what is known as pragmatics, supporting overall language development across functional contexts, including its application to develop literacy skills.
We are NLA certified and understand GLP.
Specialty AAC
Services
Our AAC evaluations, therapy, and coaching services empower individuals and their families with the knowledge and skills to effectively use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices for improved connection, interaction and communication. As bilingual SLPs, we support language growth and milestones in all languages, meeting the unique needs of each individual and their family.
We offer services for children and adults who use/require AAC.

Language Enrichment with AAC Groups:
We offer dynamic group sessions where caregivers can learn and practice effective language facilitation strategies with their children. Using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) as a key tool, our sessions are designed to be fun and interactive, whether held outdoors or in community-based settings. These groups provide a supportive environment for both caregivers and children to connect, learn, and grow together.
Groups incorporate training through play-based and hands-on activities, with a focus on nature-based outdoor activities. These interactive sessions provide a supportive environment where children can explore language and communication using their AAC devices in both Spanish and/or Portuguese and English.

"Aprendiendo Juntos" Groups:
Raising a bilingual child in the United States is challenging, and knowing the best way to support a child's language impairment or delay can be overwhelming. However, I am here to assure you that it is not impossible. I am dedicated to helping you by providing strategies to use with your child, fostering engaging connections, and supporting their language development across all languages.
In this class, you will learn and practice strategies to help your little one communicate more effectively in their target language (Spanish/Portuguese) through fun and engaging activities. Additionally, you will have opportunities to connect with other bilingual parents.

Payments
At Explora Therapy, we're a private pay practice, we accept debit and credit card payments.
We also are an NCSEAA approved provider and accept ESA+ funds.
We believe that the services we provide should be driven entirely by your child’s unique needs, free from the constraints and decision-making of insurance companies. With this approach, I expect to see more rapid progress, as it allows for the creation of a truly individualized plan without being limited by insurance requirements.
If you need it, just ask for a superbill, which you can then submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
